Therapy for women, based in Austin and online across TX
I believe we’re in this together.
I believe your experience makes sense.
With all the uncertainty, daily pressures, and big changes, it’s no wonder that life can feel overwhelming. And if you’re grieving a pregnancy loss, facing infertility, or longing for a deeper connection with your kids, that weight can feel even heavier. Together, we can work on releasing guilt and perfectionism while making your needs a priority.
You might be noticing:
Mental exhaustion and anxiety that just won’t let up.
Feeling like your life is ruled by the calendar and endless to-do lists.
Reacting more than you’d like in stressful moments.
A strong desire to break old cycles and find your own way.
Recognizing the overwhelm is the first step toward change, and you’re less alone than you might think.
Hi, I’m Sara.
M.A., LPC
Whether you’re feeling stuck in anxiety, navigating infertility, or facing the challenges of motherhood, I know the last thing you want is to explain yourself to someone who doesn’t get it.
I draw on my training in Interpersonal Neurobiology and my own life experiences, so I can share the "why" behind what you’re going through—along with pieces of my journey when it might help you feel seen. Above all, I’m here to walk alongside you through life’s tough moments and the grief that often comes with them.
The story you tell
yourself matters.
While there may be parts of you that feel broken, you’re not a project to “fix.” Here are a few ways we can work together to help you live more authentically.
1. Making sense of your history. Exploring early experiences and the meanings you made growing up in a difficult or painful family; getting to the root of guilt, shame and anxiety.
2. Helping life feel as good inside as it looks on paper: Dealing with self-doubt, burnout and mental overload; setting boundaries and moving away from perfectionism and people-pleasing.
3. Feeling more okay with life as it is. Navigating difficult realities and life transitions with patience and compassion.
